Headlights both fault

Featured Replies

Had my light fault indicator up on my dash and have found that both my normal beams are gone...

Then went over some bumps and one side came back on...

Is a lose connection a common issue?

I'll have a check today and see what I find..

Thanks

Liam

Wiggle them around and see if they come back on, check the wiring and clean the contacts up if you can get to them. If that don't fix it then chances are you need new bulbs.

They aren't HID bulbs are they just the standard halogen?

Oh and when changing them DON'T touch the glass with your fingers on the new bulbs as it can reduce their life. I usually use a plastic food back or gloves to handle them.
