Dim Jim...

I, uh... appear to have committed a mild act of greatness by doing everything wrong. I, as of the beginning of the month, have become the (somewhat overly) proud owner of a Favorit, in about 50 shades of green. That I bought in the dark, from the other side of Manchester. Well, I got excited; buying my first car, and all... *eyeroll*

Survived that ordeal, and have a car that is clearly far too good for me; little more than cosmetic rust (apart from one wheel arch. I'll deal with that when the weather and work permits.), and it's been pretty well-maintained through most of its life.  Still getting used to being a road-user, rather than just a passenger; but at least I have a little more freedom, now. (Still having conflicts of size-sense, too; as made apparent by hitting a wall in the work's van the first time I moved it around the yard after getting the car, and then removing the wing-mirror while parking the car at work. d'oh.)

So, uh... if you end up rolling your eyes at a formerly Caribbean-green (now "faded and blotchy" green) Favorit that is still indicating right after a turn; I'm sorry. It's broke and doesn't cancel. :p
