Hi all I've recently replaced the console bushes and the front bushes on both bottom arms, then I did the tracking.

I've noticed some play in the drivers side inner tie rod, I'm going to replace it soon and I'm wondering if anyone that has replaced one could tell me if any components had to be removed to gain access or to get the tie rod out?

You can get a special tool for removing them,allows you to undo them from under the wheel arch.

It can be a right pain trying to get grips etc on them to undo at the rack end.

Does the driveshaft need to be removed?
