Can anyone tell me if a dog guard out of a (2003 vrs estate) would fit in a (2005 mk2 estate) please ?

Probably not if it's an OEM one, having seen the shapes in the past, but a generic square one might work as they're normally VERY adjustable

If it is a genuine Skoda Dog guard  the answer is Yes with a minor modification.

 

after rolling my original Occy ( 03 plate Ambiente Estate) I bought a 1.9 Elegance estate on a 05 plate. the guard has two 'lugs' that fit onto the loop for the rear seat catch. I cut out the sides of these 'lugs' to get it to fit because the loops for the rear seat catch are slightly further apart.
