fun front disk upgrade

Featured Replies

is there a straight swap out there...

one which needs no or little modifications or fabrications..

(as it would be done on my drive way, and i have not much access to fabrication gear)

i am fairly competent with a set of spanners

and mostly.......... will it make a noticeable difference

thanks fellas.....Keith

You can upgrade to 256mm, 280mm and even 300mm discs.

256mm being the easiest and a damn good upgrade on a felicia! The other two would be abit OTT unless running good power.

Take a look in the classic technical guides there is a thread for the 256mm upgrade.

256mm vented is a good choice for general road use, and it will fit inside a 14" wheel.

thank you Tom...... will check it out...

it was noted on last MOT that the pads were low and disks were pitted and scored, so it i have to change them, i may aswell upgrade the whole thing..

so it will be fine with 15 inch wheels too

thank you......... Keith

I'm running on 280mm golf g60 discs and mondeo v6 calipers on my 1.8T motor and they are more than capable of taming the 20v power, in fact they are a bit underworked if I'm honest.
