My outside temperature is reading approx 8°c too low, I've done checks on the Climatronic and the G89 sensor is reading low. The front G17 is correct.

Does anybody know where I can find it, I've read 2 possible locations:

1: Under the front scuttle tray next to the wiper motor.

2: Inside the air intake of the air con system ,just under the pollen filter.

 

Could anybody confirm where this is located if so it would be much appreciated.

In here it is item 11 and called a fresh air intake duct sensor. Dig around in this manual and you may find a better picture or even instructions on how to change it
