Loan of locking wheel key needed in west of Scotland

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

I attempted to change from winter wheels earlier and couldn't because my locking wheel key is chewed up. I couldn't get a replacement from the dealer because they don't make one with a letter P.

With a baby due in 2 weeks i'd like to avoid a garage bill so I'm wondering if anyone relatively near to Paisley has one I can borrow if I drive to them?

I've already bought replacement locking bolts.

Any help very much appreciated.

Is it stamped on the key thanks

Yeah, it's stamped on the hex end of the key. Where you would put it on the wrench. Might be hard to make out if the key is grubby.

I will have a look and let you know mate thanks

I've seen mechanics cut a nick in the edge of locking wheel nuts and tap them loose with a screwdriver and hammer.  I was suprised it worked but was fine on all 4 wheels.

Just a thought if you can't get a copy...
