PDI checklist?

Featured Replies

Hi everyone this is probably a bit late to be asking this, but here goes anyway. I picked up my new Octavia in December and I read all the really useful posts on what to look out for when picking up the new car. Now the main thing I read in these posts was to ask the dealership to see the PDI checklist mainly to check if the car had been in any bumps while in transit but when I asked the salesman he didn't know what I was talking about and I just left at that and didn't push it any further put as time as gone on i have started to become a little paranoid that maybe he pretended not to know what the PDI was because there was something he didn't want me to see on it??? Also just to add the salesman as been working for Skoda for 5 years. What does everybody think to the situation im i being paranoid?? Also is there any chance i might still be able to request to see the PDI checklist??

Thanks in advance for any replies

Keep asking for it. If sales don't know then ask the service manager or retailer principal they will certainly know.

I requested thr PDI for the car I was sold As the car was full of Defects thus i needed to know if the PDI had been done by the dealer.
