Need an interior / carpet cleaner. What's the best on the high street?

The best Carpet cleaner is rather subjective. The best way would be to wet vac them I suppose.

 

I used Autoglym's stuff just because I had it I can't compare it to anything else. I personally didn't rate it very highly when I used it on my seats but for the purpose of cleaning the carpets it's good enough.

 

What would be the purpose of cleaning your carpets? Is it just to clean the effects of wet muddy feet due to the time of year ect. Or is it to get rid of a stubborn stain?

The dog came into season and has made a mess of the carpets but also SWMBO'S car is filthy on the inside

If not using a wet vac then Autobrite FAB is...er...fab

Oh dear that'll teach you for letting a dog into your car lol. You do realise the window was designed so that you can tie the dog's lead to your door pull eliminating all kinds of problems. :evil:

 

Why don't you pop down to Halfords and pick up some of the autoglym stuff, it doesn't cost that much, if it doesn't work for you at least you know and your not too much out of pocket.

 

The Chemical guy's stuff has good reviews on the Clean your Car website.
