This is my first time I bought a Skoda fabia 2007 1.2 12v petrol and I noticed that there is an eletrical/eletronic barrier on the car battery! Can please anyone tell me what is the function of it? because on other cars I did not have it I only had  to plug the plus and minus!

Possibly fuses?
