Hi to you all.

Had my Octavia VRS Estate for 2 months and oh wow, what a car.

Some people ask 'why an estate'.... easy, for my I.T business.

...Then they ask 'why a Skoda'...easy... because they are great cars and a great price.

...and finally they ask... 'why such a fast one'... easy again... means we can get to our clients quickly!

...I rest my case... they sit there wondering what the hell they have to do to get one :)

Cheers

Gareth

Hi Gareth

Welcome to the forum.

Good reply on all of the questions.

Have fun on this forum as there is lots to see.

You're forgetting that the Octavia vRS is probably the slowest car ever made, whereas the Fabia vRS is quickest, with the possible exception of the MacLaren F1...

Just kidding - a forum 'in joke' ;)

Welcome to Briskoda!

A good choice:D

I like your answers to the "why?" questions. I always used "why not!"

Get a re-map and some hatchback version 17" alloys and you'll enjoy it even more:D(speaking from personal experience)

Welcome!

I always ask s******ing people "and what exactly is wrong with skoda?"

No one has come up with an answer yet.Keep enjoying the car

welcome :)

Thanks to you all.. great welcome.

I have driven a lot of different road and rally cars over the years and didn't think I would find a good all round drivers/business car, with out paying a shed load of money... but wow the Octavia vRS (can't possibly comment on the Fabia vRS as havn't driven it..yet!) is certainly hitting the right buttons.

Hi Gareth, nice to see that someone else has the same sense as me!!. Had mine now for three and a half months, put nearly 8,000 mls on it and every single one has been with a :) !!. Consider getting it re-mapped (plenty of advice on this forum), believe me you won't regret it!!, changes you from this :) to this :D .
