Radio interference when wired in dash cam is on

Featured Replies

Hi   All,

Does anyone else got radio interference when the dash cam is on, I've  noticed there is just mush in a bad reception area but reasonable reception in good areas , something which never happened before I installed the camera, Switching off at the camera doesn't help only when feed circuit is unplugged does it improve.  Wondering if a screened feed cable would help and where to get one.

 Any ideas about it ?

I had the same problem. I bought some ferrit filters (noise filter) that i clamped on the dash cam wire in both ends. Ebay has loads of them. Just get the right size

Thanks Alsomme,

                               I'll try that .

The ones I can find on ebay come from china at 3 to 4+ weeks delivery , !. Would not need to be in a hurry.

I bet any well stocked audio /car stereo specialist have them in stock also.
