Oops - forgotten excell password!

Featured Replies

Umm.... I've forgotten the access password for my spreadsheet that holds the info on my work holiday dates and also that of the guys who work for me!

I've tried all my usual ones but with no luck

Of course, one of my minions could have guessed it and changed it to something else.

Are there dictionary attack programs I can use? I found a company on the web that will do it for me - for a fee :thumbdwn:

HELP!

Tried P2P network? A quick search showed 169 matches :D

Chris

caps lock off/on??

If you haven't got this sorted yet, drop me a mail with the spreadsheet in at work: [email protected] and I'll see if I can help, I think we've got a few password recovery programs I can use. Offer is only open till 5pm on friday though - I'm on holiday for a week after that :D

Think your royally stuffed if you've forgotten it.

is it a password to open the file, or just one to prevent changes?
