putting elegance parts on to my ambiente

Featured Replies

Hi all.

Was looking at getting a few bits from a octavia elegance to fit on my ambiente.

Is it a case of plug and play or is there a bit more to it than that.

What were you thinking of?

Some things will work and others won't (or at least not without a lot of work!).

Was looking at new seats new rear bumpers with sensors and my be fog lights in the front bumper.

Wouldn't bother with the seats bud. imo. The lumbar support is totally ineffective. Mine does work / move but still not comfortable.

I do find the seats supportive - I like the length of the seat base and the side support of the base and back is pretty good too, - the back is just not a good shape.

Someone may correct my memory, but I am sure a lot of people have commented this.

I run another car also and although it does not have any lumbar support adjustment, it is way more comfortable, short or long journeys.

Dare I say it, Saab seats, Ahhhhhhhhhhhh. There, said it.

Rear bumper with sensors, you'll need the wiring loom, PDC controller, speaker and compatible can gateway to get that up and running.

Will have to have a good think and see if I can get all the components with them and see.

Thanks for all the info much appreciated.

I totally agree and would love to upgrade.

The only reason I asked really that a mate of mine knows someone with one that has been written off so might be able to get the parts cheap but like you all have said it sounds like a lot of work for not or if any gain so I think it will be a no go.

Thanks again.
