Sorry. Forgot to point out i aquired the vehicle in Sept 2014

You can change whenever you want

Usually you will be in negative equity in the car so you will owe more than the cars value

You pay the difference and you can change

Can I ask why you have fell out of love with the gearbox

Hi Malcster.

When i test drove the asg it was in stockport town centre which is fairly flat and the gearbox is great on the flat it really is, problem is i live in mossley which is all hills and the box is very hesitant to change uphills to the point where i have to use semi auto but sometimes it wont allow!

Cheers

depending on the deposit you put down and the interest etc 30-36 months into pcp before you are out of negative equity

some dealers will allow you to pass some of the negative equity onto the new finance agreement

I'm changing my Citigo Elegance for a Fabia SE L estate which is being built next week. I got the Citigo in Feb '14 so it'll be 14 months old when I get my new car in April. The dealer is buying me out of the finance so I basically start again from scratch.

2 years into mine and i am in the process of changing to a roomster in negative equity for £200

i think the current model of test drives is poor

my proposal is

say i want a yeti

i pay a nominal rental fee not to steep but not so cheap people take the mickey

should i buy a car from the dealer the rental is refunded

years ago when i worked for vauxhall  they attempted a 3day test drive we had a lot of people just taking advantage of a free car for 3 days ie going to the tip doing mega mileage

something needs to change as i suspect alot of people have had a good test drive when all feels new and exciting but living with it for a few days/monhs thats when niggles arise

just my two cents anyway

hope it works out for you

Thanks guy`s. looks like i am stuck with it for a while then.

go and have  chat with the dealer, see what they offer

only thing is the ASG is not a popular model so harder for the to shift

I seem to remember the test drive schemes, if my memory serves me well didn`t you hire the car for 3 days and if you bought one you were reimbursed the hire price?
