Bang For Your Buck!

Was thinking as to what cars give the best power against the cost of buying a new car. Below is a top 5 of the best that I could find based on this simple formula:- Price (

Add the price of a remap and the little Fabia becomes even more tempting.

Change peak power to peak torque and we have......?

The Bugatti Veyron gives 840.9 - meaning the Furby vRS is 9.95 times better value

No because the way Makefish has worked it out, the lower the number the better.

Ah yes - should have thought about that ... I naturally assumed that the Fabia was the best as that's usually what these lists are pulled together to show lol

Chris

id avoid the clio at all cost lol or atleast think of resale value they are worth about 9k after a year

Here's a couple that beat the fabia and CTR:

4.--Seat Ibiza Cupra 1.8T--------

Many a true word said in jest

That's a fantastic list mate, although it's a bit sad that you bothered I must admit I'm really impressed ! :D When I bought my Octavia vRS I told everybody I reckoned it was the most powerful car I could have got for the money, with the exception of the Clio it looks like I was correct !

lets put it this way you got the much better car

What does a 318Ci weigh in at

since you asked, I couldn't help myself but look it up, a rather pittiful 175.8!! :D

If you want an out of the box car that will kick the *** of most on your list, for the money i'd be test driving the clio. a bit plasticy inside but go and handle like stink. if you are wanting to modify, the the fabia is next on the list. economy with enough torque to pull your house down. the civic is a good, but you have to rev the conkers off it to get it to perform and they dont handle as good as they should. its all about what you're looking for.

the clio doesnt go like stink tbh its fast ish but doesnt set the world on fire but it is a good a and b road car

Its still the fastest car in its class, so I'd say it did go like stink. 0-60 in less than 7 seconds and nearly 140 mph aint too shabby in a car that small.
