Grinding type noise when pulling away?

Featured Replies

I keep getting a noise when I pull away in first, even more so in second! Horrible noise, like metal?! Any others?

Checked your brakes?

Does it go away once moving?

Get worse with the wheels turned?

Rear calipers will be binding. Mines are doing this too.

More info needed to be sure. Could be a backing plate rubbing and can't tell once up to speed.

Best way to check, jack it up and spin the wheel by hand, hear anything?!
