VRS Folding Mirrors

Featured Replies

I'm a little surprised that folding mirrors wernt standard on the VRS, suppose I should have looked.

£175 option, but they do auto-dim as well!

And have courtesy lights! Not to rub it in

They weren't even available an option in the UK until recently.

The UK vRS is loosely based on SE spec but with a few model specific spec items, notably xenons, LED rear lights, light/lane assist and perhaps a few other bits and bobs. Thats why folding mirrors werent standard.

Not keen on the Lane Assist, it's staying deactivated. The steering feels odd due to the constant adjustment.

That's an interesting choice from SUK. Here the RS spec is very close to Elegance, though Elegance doesn't have quite as many bells and whistles as in the UK. (Mainly the Alcantara seats.)

I wasn't either but tried turning the second option "Adaptive lane assist" off leaving the base "Lane assist" option ticked. That's a much less annoying experience as it only assists you when you veer our fail to steer in time. Try that on a proper journey and it might grow on you.

Also, it is a great option to teach ppl how to use their indicators, I've been surprised a few times by its intervention and now indicate more often than I used to.
