White Octy vRS (not WRC)!

Featured Replies

Notice the strange speedo and the odd vrs badge on the boot.

the speedo has probably been properly calibrated for traffic officers to pull people for speeding... No idea on the badge!

We had a white Octi vRS for sale here...destickered model...it was an absolute beauty with white Octy vRS alloys...

Piccy?

Rear strut braces in the boot as well :D

Strut braces are standard in the Octy VRS! And a pain in the ****, as they can get in the way! Often wondered whether removing them would make any difference to the car?!!

Didnt realise that the Police VRS were tuned to 225 though!

I doubt the police would have had a car remapped. I suspect the current owner has had that done.

I know for a fact certain police and army vehicles are modified, especially those concerned with bomb disposal etc. It's not the norm though.

It depends on the car and the police force.

If any are remapped it tends to be done by a fairly conservative amount (superchips springs to mind)

Police here have modified BMW 540s for cars, and they're fast. There are also unmarked modified Nissan Armadas, and as stock cars, they are stupidly fast.

For hot pursuits, the police have two modified 911 Turbos here with some sort of front grille that is used to short the car they're chasing at high speeds, by lightly tapping the rear bumper.

And if you don't know what a Nissan Armada looks like, this is it...

am I right in thinking there's no reserve on this car?! gotta be worth a bid!

They'd be known as a Nissan Pathfinder over this side of the water.

No Strut braces on the Combi!

We have the Pathfinder here too, and it's different to the Armada.
