Hello everyone...

Generally had vauxhalls over the years, recently sold my vxr8 and as much as I loved the rumble of it and the power it was time for some practicality and economy seeing as a water pump failed before xmas and cost £616 plus vat for pump alone!!!

So had been looking out for a superb estate and missed out on a few nice spec'd ones

Flew to Southampton on Friday morning and collected one from a dealer

Silver sept 2011 estate

170 elegance

Usual trim, leather heated electric and drivers memory

Sat nav Columbus hu

Etc etc

Then drive a straight 7 hour non stop trip Southampton to cairnryan for the ferry back to Belfast!!

Soaked up the miles very nicely I must say and in relative comfort!!

Loving some of the touches in the car like the umbrella in the door, removable torch, courtesy lighting and the radio I find fantastic (although may possibly add better speakers/amp/sub in the future)

Plans at the mo are fairly basic, I terror mats, boot liner, wind deflectors and mudflaps

Wouldn't rule out a remap in the future either .

Yeah hope was to make the Pembroke toss late or holyhead dublin sailing but was too late away from dealer to make Pembroke and then holyhead sailing was cancelled... So was a mad dash for scotland!!!

Made it home and then hada Rush out for a birthday celebration too... Will sleep for a week now
