This isn't your run of the mill "Will a Golf carpet fit etc etc"

 

Wouldn't it just be easier to buy a MK1 Octavia carpet from a different model that is black?

This would be guaranteed to fit surely?

Yep I have done it mk 4 golf tdi black carpet exactly the same as a octavia looks mint

Took me a tad longer than I wanted to but it's miles better

I'd just rent a wet vac tbh. Much less hassle and brings the carpet up fantastic. I know the white is a bit of a pain but it's the thing that sets the vRS apart, makes me sad to see the carpet getting ripped out :(

 

But then i'm odd like that...

If it was just dirt then I would. I did on my first Octy. Looks like in my new one that I bought yesterday the previous owner has used bleach or something similar to try and clean and It has completely wrecked them.

 

Sad I know as it is characteristicklyickly (spelling????) VRS but needs must...
