Shark Remap - OBD Port?

I have contacted my local Shark agent ( Perfect Touch ) regarding a remap on my 2012 (MY2013) TSI VRS.

 

They state that it is an ECU out job due to the encryption. I thought Shark had cracked this and could do it via the OBD port? Have i been misinformed?

It can be done from the ORB port. Some dealers can't do the diesel yet but yours is perfectly fine.

Well Shark say it can. Their agent insist it cannot.

Looks like I will be going to Revo unless they can sort it between themselves soon!!
