I found out today the VRS Tsi hatch I ordered through (Faintree Skoda,Telford), is being built this week instead of next (b-w 11).

 

Hopefully be available for collection 1st week of April

I know what you mean, and I had a build date from the moment I ordered.

 

I'm jealous of all the people who have collected their cars already (me impatient, never!!).

Mine is in the country now Just waiting for a transporter to get filled to bring it up

I heard from my dealer today. It will get build week 12 or 13. And about 4 weeks delivery, so it will be mine week 16 or 17.

Cool - I remember that feeling well - the wait will be worth it!

It's arrived in Grimsby, well I assume she has.

 

I popped in to see the dealer yesterday and he told me that it was on the boat Monday, when I got home I used a maritime tracker and found that Weser Highway (one of the 2 ships that VAG use) had docked at Grimsby at 06.00 yesterday morning, so I can only presume she was on that shipment  :clap:

My car was built and arrived at the dealers a whole month ahead of schedule. However, because it's a lease car... I can't have it until the end of the existing lease.... Agonising isn't the word.... T minus 7 days and counting until it's here
