New interior question

Featured Replies

I know that there is a lot of threads about what interiors that fit the fabia. What I need to know is that if the mk8 poli gti interior will for straight in or if it would need minor modification

Many thanks Christian

I don't think anyone will have tried it tbh.

You'll just need to compare seats before buying, take your rear seats out and measure up mounting points etc.

Fronts you can measure up the mounting points without removing the seats.

Anytning is possible

Buy them and if they don't fit, make them fit.

The fronts should fit straight in as the polo, new shape fabia and Audi a1 all share the same front seat bases. but rears may require a little modification

This is true, but it depends on mechanical knowlwdge/tools/welder etc available.

Also depends on the price of the interior, if its expensive I would rather measure up/compare before purchase rather than buy it and rip it to bits and then realise its more work than you can handle.

If the rears are the same fitment as a A1 you will need to remove covers/foam from rear seat backrest, cut off the fabia mounting points and weld them onto the Polo frame, then cut small holes in the material for the mounts to go through.

Catches etc line up spot on, just lower mounts are higher on the Audi :)
