Spam email

Featured Replies

I get around 30 emails a day which go straight into my spam folder.

Does it serve any useful purpose to mark them as junk as well before deleting them?  I just wondered if it stops them coming in again?

I'm using Mail on a MacBook Pro.

Most of them seem to be about Cheltenham or Anglian windows at the moment  :dull:

Just junk them. Your mail app has already marked them as spam.

There are programs that can not only sort and auto-delete the spam, but also send a fake "no such email address" message back to the origin. The one I use is called Mailwasher.

Unless the bounce email is instant, it's worthless.

Most spam networks know a real isp bounce email these days meaning doing it can actually verify your address is working

Thanks GM & GG

Guess I'll just bin them then, which only takes a few seconds.  Adding rules and marking each one as junk obviously takes more time that I'd rather not waste if it doesn't achieve anything.
