Calling all VRS hatch owners

Featured Replies

My VRS is now on 29k miles and going really strong,

It just struck me when cleaning the car the other day how much flex is in the rear spoiler.

Can I ask you guys/girls to check your rear spoiler on your hatch and see how much you can move it up and down in the mid section of the spoiler.

I only ask as mine seems to have a bit of flex and want to ensure it's ok,...

I've never tried to waggle it, but I have never noticed any flex at all, unlike the roof.

I always use the hand pull down handle when closing it.... So I have no idea and my post is of little use.

Sorry.

Just checked for you, it flexes a little bit but not much, if pushed quite firmly in the middle

Did mine earlier.... Didn't push it very hard, but it didn't really flex.

Thanks for checking guys, mine does flex a little in the mid section.

I always use the pull within the boot when closing and only noticed the spoiler flex when cleaning the car,...

I'm assuming it should flex a bit in the middle, it's just by how much??

Yes mine has to much flex to .one of the first vrs mk3. My brother has a 2015 model and so does a mate not nearly as much flex in theres .This has lead to paint loss just under spoiler .being dealt with by skoda but still waiting for response .would show picture but can't figure out how to!!!!!

The faster you go the more it flexes.
