2010 Audi S3 seats into a 2007 Elegance

Featured Replies

I have a late 2007 build Octavia hatch.  Elegance spec so manual adjusted seats without heating.

I've just bought some 2010 Audi S3 seats with leather (pleather??) covering.  They have electric lumbar adjustment.  Owner says they weren't heated which surprises me for a halo model with leather.

Is there a way of double checking if they are heated?

Is it a nightmare to get the electric lumbar connected?

I'm aware the airbag plugs might be different - any other gotchas besides the difference in plugs?

Plugs are maybe different;)

Double check of heating? Audi A3 has 10pin black connector, It seems to be same as in Octavia 2. I check it in Elsa. So only airbag can be problem;)

Lumbal support is question only for + a - voltage support. It can be taken from lighter, no addition fuse must be install.

On the older VAG stuff , there is usually a yellow plug for the seat airbags and a green one for the heater elements.

I check it in Elsa 4.1 so the newest one and there is 10pin black connector, but my seats from Audi A6 had 4 6pins connector (green for heating). There is difference between platforms (Audi A3=Octavia=Golf) and stand alone for big Audis.

Airbag is yellow in all cases, but different shape and gender (male-female pins) :/
