heat shied, have exactly the same, waiting for robinsons to ring me as they had to order a new one in..... really annoying though!

 

it only makes a noise when in neutral, and clutch is not pressed

 

mines a 63 plate elegance

Masserator do you have any pictures of the heat shield? Dose it have to be replaced or could it be bent into place?
