It's a rattle on startup. There are some youtube videos that demonstrate it.

MIne does that too, from looking on google it appears normal.

    Ticking is normal - the rattle is supposedly very obvious and lasts around a second

    Mine is a daily but only short runs,only does around 25/26 mpg and around 32 on a run
