Abs light - 1.9 tdi 2002 fabia

Featured Replies

Got the abs light coming on after a few days of feeling the abs kicking in and effectively stopping me braking.

The brakes work fine now the lights on and the abs off, but I suspect a sensor.

Question is - what's the cheapest way to diagnose the sensor.

Is it a cheap and cheerful code reader ( which one would work - any suggestions for one which will find which wheel to look at and clear the code)

Or is it a USB lead and download some vag software to try that.

Deffo don't want to pay to hook up to garage - I'd sooner spend the 40 on some kit

Any views would be appreciated...

Cheers

:-)
