NEW WHEELS!

Featured Replies

Got some stock alloys to replace my steelies, so not very exciting for anyone else but ME! :D :D :D

Need to sort tyres A. they are the wrong size 205/60/16 and one is brand new, one half worn, one 2/3 worn and one down to about 2.5mm. Ideally I wanted to be able to use these tyres and finish them off, but that won't be possible without buying another new wrong sized one and running the new ones on front worn ones on back. The 60 profile I had no dramas with as the car can be grounded on some A roads here at sub 40mph speeds as is....  The alloys do look immaculate though and had been pondering over them on Ebay for some time!

Sad bit is, my 15" steelies have a massive amount of tread left on them on summer rubber....... I don't want to waste them and being as they are summer tyres, little point using them again for the winter. I hae a set of brand new Audi bs alloys here from my old Mk2 FL vRS which have new all season tyres on which I can use, but would hurt my chances of selling them on massively. What to do, what to do??? I have a set of centre caps from when I upgraded my Neptunes on the vRS for the new style ones, so those need to be found to finish these new ones off :D

Bugger and that's the one thats new! :D TBF I couldn't pronounce the names of the ones that were on it. Will be getting another new tyre for front and have 'that one' and the 2.5mm tread one on there today. The one that will accompany it will be the cheapest tyre I can find on this planet (locally). Once they are worn at back, front's should be about 60% worn and will dump all 4 for my all season hankooks sat in the shed waiting for them, they cost the guts of €500 so will not be letting them go for half that along with the brand new Audi alloys they are attached to..... Semi holding onto them in case I end up with another VAG car with 5x112 in the future, but it won't be soon enough at this rate against age tyres would then be.

It is by no means clean. Washed last week (for second time) and got it dirty on maiden voyage :( Light and filter used to darken it up and the green helps hide it well in pics. F/O/S tyre is practically brown.  :D

You've washed yours twice more than SWMBO, I end up doing it because it ends up doing my head in haha. Think she realises that which is why she's stopped even thinking about doing it.

She look nice on them , [emoji2]
