2011 Fabia Monte Carlo electrical problems

Featured Replies

Hi, 2011 Fabia Monte Carlo 1.6 tdi.

Central locking, indicators, hazards and wipers not working.

Front window washers and rear wipers are working, so are the dip/main beam,so it's not the stalks.

I checked all the fuses which are ok.

On starting up all dash lights come on including the 2 green indicator lamps. All stay on until heater plugs switch off and car starts and runs with no problems.

Any body any advice to what maybe wrong?

Thanks in anticipation of help, if no replies I'll post up an update when I get the problem sorted.

Bank holiday here in Norn Iron today so I won't be able to get it sorted for a day or two.

Has it just failed or been intermittent?

If the fuses are ok it could be a relay ?

You could try disconnecting the battery and see if it resets itself ?

Good idea about the battery, will give it a go.

R1chard your an absolute star. It actually worked. Time for a celebratory beer. Thanks a million.

Have you tried turning it off and back on again.......

R1chard top bloke. People always overlook the first step.

No problem :)

If it does it again it could be a relay at a guess!
