Hi!

 

I've recently bought myself a Octavia MY10 and now I'd like to know what's possible to do with them

 

The equipment I've got today is Maxidot, auto-dimming inner mirror, heated seats front and rear, Jumbobox, Mirror lights and CC.

But I'd like some more! Been looking around but haven't found a thread that has any summary about all mods that are available?

 

 

So I hoped that we could make a summary here about which mods that can be done and if it require wiring or/and coding.

 

 

There's some things I'd like to have, like Hill Hold, Auto Lights, Auto dimming outer mirrors and such. So if you know of a guide or what's necessary post it here please and make it easier for others too

Have a look at Eddie-NL's thread on his FL Octavia and you'll see what is possible.

Front & rear parking sensors;
OPS;
Columbus sat nav;
Roof antenna;
Folding mirrors;
Footwell lights;
Etc.

Yes I saw his thread yesterday, that was what got me to do this thread

 

He's done a lot of nice things, but there's not any explaination how his done it, which is the main reason I made this thread

Probably because a lot of it involved a lot of hard work and effort, and would be far to complicated to explain in words and pictures in a single post

 

Plus, why would he be likely to divulge such information for no gain

All I can say is that he fitted me a Mk 2 Fabia vRS steering wheel into a Mk2 Fabia Elegance and was charging very little money in real terms for the privilege

 

He's the Stig of all things technical

Well I do understand what you mean

 

Didn't mean that he should tell me everything, my thoughts about this thread were more of a summary for mods he and others done instead of searching like a i*i*t

 

I'm looking for mods that's fairly easy to do!
