Hi everyone, new on here, hope I'm in the right department! I'm planning to upgrade the 110 bhp tdi ASV lump in my Octavia and apparently by upgrading injectors it's possible to gain extra power. I'm not trying to get a lot more but just a little more torqe for acceleration. Does anyone know what injectors do I need and if a remap is necessary after such upgrade. She's done a few miles (176k) and the injectors are a little noisy now hence I'm thinking about hanging them.(doesn't smoke and starts fine) thanks

Until a change in circumstances I was going to stick fat injectors, pd130 turbo etc etc on my ASV and planned to aim for 180bhp. From what I read this seems quite achievable without risking damage to the insides of the engine.

 

My advice is to go read tdiclub, vwvortex etc etc for diesel tuning. Most people on here are VRS nuts Theres a FEW tdi tuning posts about but not too many on brisky. 

You can add injectors, tuning box or remap, de-cat and 3bar map sensor.. My brother ran this setup and did 165bhp and 300lb/ft..
