Checked my oil tonight and noticed that it was on the minimum on the dipstick. Had the car for almost 2 years and never needed to fill it up as it was always in the middle of the dipstick.

 

Should i be worried that i had to use 750ml to get it just above the middle of the dipstick?

I woulnt be to worried unless it pumping out blue smoke out the back or it leaving a pool of oil on the floor. Try filling it up to the max leval and keep an eye on it

How many thousands miles has the car done?

Car has done 18,000 on a 10 plate.

 

A little bit worried about the engine failures on this engine and i'm sure i read somewhere that more oil usage is the first sign :(. Hope i'm just being paranoid.
