Cambelt shredded driving along m18 car cut out pulled over tried starting the car turned over but will not start popped bonnet took cambelt cover off and it's shredded just one side still intact gutted

Get the head off and inspect how bad it is!

You will tell once you remove the camshaft anyway as the buckets will more than likely have cracks.

Ouch! Has the car had the cambelt changed at the recommended intervals?

The cambelt snapped 10000 miles ago so acquired a second hand engine replaced the engine replaced the cambelt then today it's gone the belt is intact it's thinner lol the engine is turning over when I lifted the bonnet up there was a bit of smoke coming out of the air filter Honda s2000 and the coolant has risen about an inch if needs be I will just replace the engine again love my furby

Oh dear, the poor thing!

Get someone els to do the belt next time.

I know what I'm on with everything was done correctly the engine was out of the car when I did it just gutted
