My front windows occasionally "clonk" when being lowered. Anyone else had this problem?

 

Trip Computer / Odometer

 

After refuelling, I started the engine, and pressed the "reset trip" button on the dash - nothing happened. Pressed again - nothing happened. Pressed a third time and a whole bunch of info about software versions and all sorts displayed on the maxi-dot...! None of the steering wheel buttons changed the display so I switched off the engine and restarted...this reset the maxi-dot but my trip was now showing 849 miles (approx 3 times the amount is was when I pulled in for gas!) - what happened?!

why would you reset the trip when you refuel, if you go to the distance section of you maxi dot it will tell you how far you have travelled since you re-fuelled

So that you can see the distance since refuel at the same time as viewing another option on maxi-dot? I religiously do this as the trip distance plus range to empty added together give a rough estimate of the total mileage per tank.

Windows should be smooth in operation
