14" Dezent alloys on Fabia

Hi, I will be changing from standard 14" steel wheels to 14" alloys in the near future. I saw some Dezent ones that I like the look of, and changing to the same size alloy wheel shouldn't affect ride comfort. What I would like to know is if anyone has switched up to a 15" or 16" alloy from standard wheel, and if there is a noticeable difference in ride quality? I just want something that looks smart, that adds to the appearance of the car, but doesn't change the current smooth setup... Also any advice on which tyres (preferably good year-round tyres) would be good with the Dezent alloys...? Thanks very much in advance for any help... G
