Air Con service is now needed indicated by the "smell". Is it worth paying the £70 to skoda to do it or will any garage that offers the service do?

 

Oh and I live in the Hull area

An independent is about 40. always leave aircon on year round to prevent drying of the seals

My advice would be to use an air con specialist, these guys tend to know their way around the system a little better than the main dealers.

 

The Skoda main dealer fixed price is £75...

I have always used ATS for a yearly service, they seem to have always done a good job.

If it's only the sweaty feet smell, then as Mike says, get a couple of air con cleaner kits - either ebay or Halfords do suitable ones. You should be able to shift the smell for £20.

They are really easy to use,youtube has a few good demo vids,but its always worthwhile changing your filter at the same time.
