Yeti Elegance 2.0 TDI SE 2010

So glad I have found all this useful information availabe.  I shall certainly need it.

Quite a change of vehicle for us, as we have owned and loved, two old 93 and 94 Landrover Discoverys 2.5 TDI's over the last 11 years.  Husband has done most of the repairs, welding up and servicing himself.  I decided he is getting too old and arthritic for all this now and it might be nice to have a more modern car that has to be sent to a garage to be serviced !!  He is yet to be convinced and wanted another old Landrover !!  He's not happy either that it is not the 4x4 model, although we really don't need one now. We sat in a few models and the Yeti seemed the one we felt most at home in.  I am not sure he will ever cope with all the electric switches and extras on the car, but the car drives beautifully and is so easy to drive. I think I will really enjoy it anyway.

I am hoping that when husband has had a couple of drives out in it, he might become more endeared to the idea. We might even get rid of the old Discovery off the drive eventually !!  :D

My friend [an avid Landy owner of 30+ years] bought a Candy White yeti 6 months ago,he'd almost given up on driving, now he is like a kid in a candy store [excuse the pun ] It seems to have given him a new lease of life.I must admit its the only other Skoda I would consider if budget was not a consideration. Its a stunning vehicle, hope you enjoy yours.

Hi

I hope husband feels the same as your friend.  I can't wait for it to arrive.  Although it is going to be a big learning curve for me as well, to get used to all those gadgets and such a smooth, quiet engine with such efficient brakes  !!   :D
