fused light bulb

Featured Replies

hi can some one help me pleased? i have a fused side light on the right hand side of my car. is it possible to change this bulb without removing the headlight? i Have tried for ages and shredded my hands to bits and just can't get close to getting the offending bulb out. sorry if this topic has already been covered

I mentioned before that I purchased a set of four "Pick tools" from Ebay, that helped me remove the bulb holder easily enough. They cost about £2-3 quid and you get a straight one, a right angle one, another bent even further and one with just a small amount of bend. They are similar to small screwdrivers. Take care as they are a little sharp- you don't want to slice the wires! If you get it on to the plastic bulb holder, it will slightly dig in and then you can gently pull the bulb. First time is always hardest as the holders are a tight push fit.
