Got a few issues of anyone can give me some ideas, (octy mk1 tdi 110. 1st plastic section of intercooler pipe has been rubbing on the waterpump pulley , which has now been fixed ( after catastrophic failure on Sunday) now it seems there is grease being flung up from somewhere in that General area this is causing the car under acceleration load to squeal like a cat being stood on, it seems to bit hitting the fan belts . Is this just gonna wear off or am I looking as though I'm gonna have to strip it all down, degrease etc and anyone got any ideas as to where the grease may be coming from

grease or oil? if it's oil it might be getting shot out of an intercooler pipe. It's normal for a small amount of oil haze to be in there.
