Seats

Featured Replies

I have the chance of front and rear leather seats out of a 2009 Passat saloon, now given that the superb is based on this all be it stretched a bit, would they fit, the back rest splits just like in the superb.

I take it the airbag connectors would also be the same on the fronts.

Don't bother Skip, unless they are Passat Sport seats they will offer no improvement mate.

Just trying to keep the interior cleaner, the cloth seats are a nightmear, don't know if I have the right year for the seats might need them from a newer version

Would you be spending decent money on them or getting them cheap enough? I think you mentioned a new engine in a previous thread as well, I hope the car doesn't end up costing you in the long run (versus trading it)if you have to keep upgrading things.

Honestly Skip the seats you are on about are uncomfy, hard, not hard wearing leather, they are from the Highline range and pretty dross,

For the cleaning I use Vanish liquid in the spray bottle, spray it over and then aggitate it with a nail brush, nothing too harsh, then simply shampoo it with a carpet shampoo machine, made my cloth Passat seats go from a Roman orgy effect to brand new, then get covers unless you want to repeat the process every 6 mths.
