How far can you go with mods before insurance companys will not touch you or quote 10s of 1000s to insure you.

currently have octavia vrs pd170 £390 a year to insure just renewed 10 days ago so sponsored companys if you can beat that incl modifications il cancel and move :-)

Hi, we have premiums that are lower than that but without going through your details I can't tell what quote we can offer you. You've only got 4 more days in which you can cancel under your cooling-off period so you'd need to be quick if you were thinking of switching. The cooling-off period is more about giving customers the opportunity to make sure the cover is suitable than the chance to find a cheaper quote.

 

If you'd like a quote we can offer one. Be aware though that your current insurer might make a charge for the time you've had on cover that makes moving economically unviable.

thanks guys I rang the briskoda/chris knots team very helpfull good enough price for me to switch insurers alt least I know my mods are covered. I dont plan on ever having to claim unless its a 3rd partys fault.
