hello guys,

just bought a 56 plate vrs with 69k miles 1 owner, when i come to a stop and sitting in traffic, the car idles at like 1500rpm,

but if i lift the throttle back with my foot, the revs drop as if the pedal is stick down slightly, can anyone shed some light please thanks.

Throttle pedal is electronic and can become sticky when worn,apparently it may may be possible to clean & reset it but when mine started doing this i replaced it.

Held on with 3 bolts but bottom of the dash needs to be removed to access it,not too difficult a job but new pedal was just under £100.
