Matsumi Apple

glad to see skoda finally supplying this with an up to date lightening connection, guys have previously suggested using the audi cable at £40 or so but skoda dealers are selling this cable now at £55

I've been looking in to this also. The only other option is a Bluetooth adapter for any of the media devices e.g older iPods etc. However it doesn't solve the problem of charging. What cable do audi offer? Or even what is the Skoda equivalent.

Cheers in advance.

Got any details?

Im still peeved that I bought the Mitsumi connector & then found no lightning connector - I got the £100 back but dealer wouldnt replace the mitsumi for USB port so now I have to charge my iphone using cigarette adapter.

That's not a mitsumi cable.

Strange, photo shows USB cable, but text says MDI. The productnumber 5E0051510E is officially listed as MDI to USB-Apple Ligtning.

so still no cable...!

so still no cable...!

Sorry if I messed up the original post by posting a link to the apparently wrong cable.

There should be a lightning to MDI cable, at least I saw a couple on ebay.

Dont know however if the original Skoda part number mentioned above is the correct one for the ligtning to MDI/mitsumi - probably not.
