Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo Electric Window Issue

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I have a 2011 Monte Carlo that has an issue with the driver side switch.

When I try press the driver side window switch for the passenger window, nothing works. Although the switch is perfectly fine on the passenger side.

Theres also an issue with the driver side window switch, the one touch close function doesn't work and neither does the function where you press it once and it'll close it a tad (other than that it's fine).

Now I've tried the reset method with the key in the door but that doesn't seem to have made a difference.

I only got the car the other day, but I bought it from a company thats over 60 miles away. So If it's just a quick fix I'd rather just fix it myself .

Any ideas?

Many thanks

I had the same problem, took it back to dealers and had a new switch pack fitted to the drivers door. 2 weeks on and still no fault so think it's cured my problem.

Hope this helps

Richard

That's what mine was, but I have rear electric windows too so different switch.

Just to update if anyone else has the same issues as above, a new switch fixed the problem.

Thanks a bunch Richard.

No problem Dan, glad you've fixed it. Mine was driving me mad.
