Tyrepal tyre pressure monitor

Featured Replies

Anyone had experience of using the 'Tyrepal' tyre pressure monitoring device?

Nope - Did you want this opening out to general car chat as currently in the yeti forum you are somewhat limiting your audience. :)

I have a set fitted to my Yeti and caravan (6 senders in all) They seam to work very well. I have fitted the receiver unit into the  dash centre box The pressure indicated seams to be very accurate. It does show that the batteries are flat on the caravan sensors when the van is out of range but this is not a problem

As per my comment on the second link, I still rate them highly.

The battery for the control unit is rechargeableand only takes approximately 30 minutes to charge and lasts about a month. The batteries in the tyre units last about a year.

I have the display tucked away in the lidded carpeted cubby in front of the gearstick (Octy II F/L Scout). The alarm is loud enough to hear even inthere, and is backed up by a red flashing light.
