PD170 Vacume Schematic

Featured Replies

Hi All, I am having a bit of  a problem with the car at the moment. IT feels like there is very little power pulling away till higher revs and the breaks seem hard, like the servo isnt working. And I cannot hear any turbo whoosh or police siren noise like I used to be able to, but when it gets up to 2.5-3k it feels like it does have a turbo but below its just like an SDi.

I have noticed that a solenoid up by the top of the DPF at the back of the engine near the pouch thing, looking very similar to a 1k0906283 (havent checked the part no yet) look slike it has been broken and tie wrapped on. I dont remember it being like that before. So coul dthe garage have taken it off, breakign it in the process and reconnected it back to front?

Can anyone post a pic of how it should be plumbed in and where it should clip? Ill buy a new one and refit it.

Also, does anyone have a vacuum schematic and ideas of where to find the bits. I used ot know it like the back of my hand but the VRS is waay more complicated than the standard PD and much more crammed in.
