Hi folks, i have just purchaced a Fun and i need to do a small amout of bodywork repairs. small amount of rust on the top of the side panel and at the lower side panel just above the different coloured yellow lower side skirt.

I have a bodyshop at my work, and was wondering how all the lower& upper skirts comes off? is it just glued on???

Plus the upper trim thats a different yellow to the body that runs along the side how do you remove that? it looks like the upper part that runs around the rear window and along the roof might have to be removed to allow the repair work to go ahead. does any one have a repair instructions? any advice on how to remove the trims will be a great help.

A lot of people seem to fail to remove the trim and end up buying new stuff. The success stories seem to involve cheese or guitar wire.

Hi there I removed my trims around the arch by using a flexible scrapper it does scratch but managed to get 3 off in one peace but one cracked the sills are a pig to get off I ended up cutting one off and got hold off another one they used tiger seal to stick them on.. After all that found the rear sills to be really bad and ended up changing the front wings due to the rust one rear arch was ok tho....
